Cantor Gaby was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In December 2019, she graduated from the Chazanim Bet Asaf Institute of Jewish Music and Training at the Latin American Rabbinical Seminary/Marshall T. Meyer. She also studied music at the Avellaneda School of Popular Music in Buenos Aires. Her vocal teachers have included Carmela Giuliano, Susana Naidich, Nora Faiman, Ana Carfi, and Mercedes Bassi. From 2017 to 2018, she studied at the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem.
Gaby has served as a cantor in Conservative synagogues in Argentina, Chile, and Israel. She participated in Buenos Aires' interfaith program, Bridge Builders, where she engaged in meaningful dialogue with Muslims, Christians, and Jews. She has also taught music to children in Jewish schools in Buenos Aires and has performed Argentine, Jewish, and Israeli music in concerts throughout Buenos Aires, Brazil, and Israel.
Since 2020, Gaby has been based in Westchester, New York, where she serves as the full-time Cantor at Beth El Synagogue Center in New Rochelle.
