We are thrilled that Nava Tehila, the renowned Jerusalem-based Jewish prayer community and musical ensemble, will be coming to Temple Micah April 23-26, 2026 for a weekend of music and worship, with opportunities for the entire Micah community—from our youngest congregants to our oldest and everyone in between—to participate!
Based in the heart of Jerusalem for over 20 years, Nava Tehila is a vibrant and pioneering prayer community that brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds to create and experience spiritual life rooted in deep Jewish heritage and alive with contemporary creative expression.
Nava Tehila innovates new prayer modalities, composes original music, and trains Jewish leaders in the art of musical and creative prayer leadership. You will recognize many of their beloved melodies, as they have taken hold throughout the Jewish world, including at Temple Micah. We regularly sing Nava Tehila’s Oseh Shalom during our worship.
Occasionally, leaders from their community travel internationally to offer musical prayer experiences, concerts, song circles, and workshops.
We are so excited and honored to welcome Nava Tehila to Temple Micah in April to sing, pray, and explore worship, music, and identity together. Nava Tehila will be with us for the weekend, joining our worship team for services and Machon, and offering a special sacred song circle concert on Saturday night. And for those who want to explore further, they will host a small-group workshop on Thursday evening—an opportunity to learn, sing, and collaborate musically alongside them.
We cannot wait for this exploration of prayer creation, connection, and vibrant Jewish-Israeli spirituality.
