Levite 2010-2011

Rabbi Sarah Bracha Gershuny is a teacher, writer, musician, ritualist and healer. Ordained as both a Rabbi (Hebrew College, 2012) and a Hebrew Priestess (Kohenet, 2015), she is on a mission to transform human consciousness through direct spiritual transmission and fierce joy.

From 2014-2020 she served as spiritual leader of Congregation Nevei Kodesh, the Jewish Renewal community of Boulder, CO. Following this, in 2022 she founded Wellsprings Gatherings together with Yoel Sykes, one of the original co-creators of Nava Tehila. These monthly musical prayer gatherings welcome Shabbat and build a joyful, intergenerational community of prayer, co-regulation and heart connection.

A regular writer and teacher for My Jewish Learning, Rabbi Sarah Bracha also loves publishing her original essays directly through her Substack @priestessrabbi. She provides spiritual counselling (hashpaah) and teaches one on one and for groups, in person, on the road and online, including for the Romemu Yeshiva, the Aquarian Minyan, Tamid at Hebrew College and the Jewish Learning Collaborative.

In 2026 she embarks upon her mobile rabbinic adventures in the Merkavan. Follow her on Instagram @JewCPriestess and read her writings here.

One thing I learned from Nava Tehila:

The importance of a consistent container to help the leadership atune to each other, the music and their own intentions.
