Our daughter Rachel was a vibrant young woman with an extraordinary capacity for friendships. She was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Barnard College and earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from Hunter College in New York. After a brief career in social work in New York and California, she, together with her husband and two children, made aliyah to Israel where two more children were born.
Rachel enjoyed listening to tapes of musical arrangements based on Hebrew prayers. She would have loved the song we have chosen to dedicate to her memory. In the last few months of her life, she seemed to be moving closer and closer to God. The music on this disc exquisitely recalls for us her own spirituality and inner beauty.
